Pasadena Elementary School is partnering with Plainview-Old Bethpage John F. Kennedy High School for this year’s Reading Buddies program. The initiative pairs high school interns with younger students to provide individualized, guided reading support.
Trained high school mentors work closely with selected students to build reading skills and confidence. In past years, participants have formed strong connections and developed a shared love of reading, creating a positive learning experience for both the high school and elementary students.
